Young Keeper Experience

Give your child the chance to step into the boots of a real animal keeper at Wigfield Farm! Our Young Keeper Experience is designed especially for children aged 7–11 who love animals and want to learn how to care for them.

Over an exciting 3-hour session, participants will work in a small group of up to 10 children, ensuring plenty of hands-on time and personal attention from our experienced team.

During the experience, young keepers will meet and help care for a variety of our friendly animals, including:

Rabbits
Guinea pigs
Meerkats
Ferrets
Reptiles
Rodents

Activities may include feeding, cleaning enclosures, preparing food, and learning fun facts about each species.

Price:
£60 per child

What to know before you arrive:

Please wear sensible clothing and sturdy footwear suitable for a farm environment
This is a drop-off experience – no adult supervision is required during the session

This is a fantastic opportunity for children to build confidence, learn new skills, and get closer than ever to some amazing animals in a safe and fun environment.
